Scruffy Dog Creative Group Completes Major Refurbishments and Upgrades to London Design studio.

On Monday, February 17th, Scruffy Dog Creative Group reopened its London design studios after undergoing a refurbishment and technology upgrade.
The changes consist of a total renovation of the downstairs, which includes a couple of state-of-the-art conference suites and meeting rooms. The rooms are fitted with conferencing & VR equipment, making it easier and more effective to connect with their global team and client base.
CEO Joe Bright says, “making these changes was essential for our staff and, of course, their working environment. But also create an interactive workspace for our clients, which will improve the processes and final results.”
Apart from developing spaces for the creatives, the company have also purchased a nearby penthouse meeting space, that features a terrace with unspoilt panoramic views of London.
“The design team has grown along with the operational staff and we needed to accommodate this in our studios in London and Barcelona, we also decided to invest into our machines and software ensuring we are at the forefront of creative design,” says Bright.
Scruffy Dog has invested in their 3D suites, which now features three high-spec curved screens and duel high powered PC’s per station, to ensure that rendering is faster than ever and no downtime in production.
The refurbishment of the studio has allowed more space for extra creatives. Bright says this is necessary as the company continues to build its hand-picked team of creatives from across the world.
It wouldn’t be a Scruffy Dog studio if it wasn’t quirky, so visitors won’t find food in the bright red fridge, however, they will find a hidden meeting room. Other additions include several bespoke sculptures and street art pieces, and finally, to complete the new design, they have brought the outside in with a bespoke living wall from Newcastle-based Treelocate.
The refurb, which cost close to £250k with the majority in machines and software, was designed and managed in-house taking around 5 weeks.
“The company was founded in East London like me! and it was important to me to stay true to its origins and my roots and make the studio space work,” says Bright. “Our unique location, which is close to London City and the airport, is superb for our international client visits”.
