I’M A CELEBRITY… JUNGLE CHALLENGE – MEDIA CITY, UK

One of the World’s leading themed Family Entertainment Centres based within Media City, Manchester, the I’m A Celebrity…Jungle Challenge was a major design and build entertainment project by ITV and Lifestyle Outlets, who are part of Peel L&P.

The action-packed Family Entertainment Centre inspired by the popular ITV show takes camp mates into the heart of the jungle where there will undergo several adrenaline-pumping obstacles and nerve-wracking challenges during their 90-minute session. Some of its extreme activities include jungle ziplines, parachute drops and vertical climbing walls.

Scruffy Dog Creative Group provided a turnkey solution for this project and went on to design the masterplan, provide initial ideation, concept development, and delivered schematic plus detailed designs which informed our themed production and realisation of all elements.

Lego is one of the largest names within the children’s entertainment sector and one famous for providing their license to some of the World’s leading theme parks and visitor attractions. Lego Discovery Centre is an indoor family attraction featuring iconic LEGO models and attractions.

Inspired by the Lego Ninjago range, new dynamic-themed areas within the FEC have since been rolled out at multiple locations worldwide.

Our specialist team at Scruffy Dog Creative Group produced the concept design & development, schematic design, and graphics for these thrilling interactive experiences.

Based in the Mall of the Emirates – a huge shopping centre based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and owned by Majid Al Futtaim, Scruffy Dog Creative Group were involved in the design of their leading Family Entertainment Centre.

Following on from the success of Ski Dubai, in 2018 Scruffy Dog Creative Group were approached to create the initial concept and masterplan for their latest indoor snow FEC – Ski Oman.

Activities within the FEC range from innovative children’s play areas, projection mapped ice rinks and ski slopes, to welcoming food and breakfast areas.

A second stage of design work was undertaken at a later date where Scruffy Dog Creative Group provided schematic and detailed design services for the project.
