Scruffy Dog Creative Group was approached to design the themed interiors for the Graduate Hotel in Cambridge, UK. These spaces included the entrance facade, lobby, reception, and dining area.
From the initial concept and development to production drawings, fabrication and delivery, our team worked closely alongside the client. From repurposing old boats to create exciting themed units to the design and creation of a large-scale ‘atomic’ art piece, our work aimed to connect the venue with the university’s rich heritage.
Utilising hundreds of hand-crafted atoms of varied colour in its construction, the suspended art piece also uses lengths of metalwork to create a highly complex DNA helix.
Scruffy Dog Creative Group were thrilled to work alongside Merlin Making Magic in designing and delivering the LEGOLAND Castle hotel, starting in Windsor and then rolling out to the USA sites. The project featured hotel rooms, restaurants, exterior theming, lobby design and more.
We played our part in providing a turnkey solution for the design of the hotel and delivery in the UK, covering all aspects of the conceptualisation, development fabrication, and installation.
Alton Towers Resorts’ creatives approached Scruffy Dog Creative Group to provide the theming design services for their new BBC CBeebies hotel using the much-loved IPs from the famous children’s TV.
Our team provided a turnkey design solution that included concept design through to schematic and detail design.
