We were delighted to be awarded a Creative Build project for one of the key floats that were integral to the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games 2022. The float we designed honoured the long standing UK motor and film industries, for which Birmingham, host city of the games is greatly celebrated.
Birmingham was the birth place of ‘film’ and home to the UK’s oldest working cinema house. The float was driven around the athletics track whilst live performers danced and paraded on top of its surface.
